Gaijin Entertainment today announced details of its participation at the Eurogamer Expo(EGX) London, The UK’s biggest game show event at Earls Court. From Thursday, Sept 25th – Sunday, September 28th Gaijin Entertainment will bring its award winning WW2 MMO War Thunder to the London show. Visitors will have the opportunity to play the recent addition to the game, Ground Forces, a major update in the game’s immersion in WW2, allowing players to drive tanks and fly warplanes in the same battlefield.
Director of Gaijin Entertainment, Anton Yudintsev commented, “We are very excited to participate in EGX London and look forward to demonstrating why War Thunder continues to offer a unique WW2 MMO gaming experience. The EGX event gives us a great opportunity to present the game to our fans and potential new players”.
Gaijin Entertainment’s EGX format allows regulars of the PC version to play with PS4 console gamers through the cross-platform game feature (PC, Mac and PS4). PlayStation 4 consoles will provide budding combat pilots with an opportunity to show off their dogfighting skills on next gen. Players who haven’t yet experienced the virtual delights of Oculus Rift will also have a chance to try out the Virtual Reality headset with War Thunder at the show.
Finally, no War Thunder event would be complete without the chance to win some goodies and meeting members of the team. Gaijin Entertainment will also be giving EGX visitors the opportunity to score some cool prizes provided by their partner Roccat, as well.
