Hoplon opens free-to-play Heavy Metal Machines South America Cup registration; pays homage to legendary Brazilian racing driver

Hoplon has been inspired by their fellow countryman, a Brazilian single-seat racing champion and legend of the highest class, to create a new skin for the Black Lotus, a character in Heavy Metal Machines. The racing car has new red and white bodywork to represent the symbolic car driven by one of the greatest grade 1 drivers of all time. The new Black Lotus will be available for a limited time from today (21st September) until 31st October on the store for US $2.99.

Currently in Open Beta, Heavy Metal Machines is filled with intuitive fast-paced action, team play elements, unique MOBA gameplay and a heavy metal soundtrack, aspiring esports players, or current professionals from around the world can play on the South American server. Over the summer Hoplon released a number of updates that saw the introduction of leaderboards, bomb updates and a new map, so that the MOBA was ready for competitive play.
