Day of the Devs, presented by Double Fine and iam8bit, returns for the third year in a row to celebrate the creativity, diversity and magic of the indie game community.
The Day of the Devs event will bring together gamemakers and fans on Saturday, November 7 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Midway (900 Marin St., SF 94124) to go hands-on with the latest Double Fine productions including Day of the Tentacle: Special Edition, new games and other offerings from partner studios, and tunes by Doseone, with more to be announced!.
“Come play some games! Hang out with the developers! Hear some announcements! Listen to some music!” Commanded Double Fine President and CEO Tim Schafer, in a unintentionally bossy tone. ”Am I using too many exclamation points?! Sorry for being bossy! But it’s going to be such a fun time I wish it were in my authority to FORCE you to come,” he added, which I thought was creepy enough, until I read this part: “Someday, I’m sure I will have that power, so come now while you can do it of your own free will!”
Games on display at Day of the Devs will include these (and more to be announced soon):
- Burly Men at Sea
- Day of the Tentacle: Special Edition
- Death’s Gambit
- Donut County
- Fantastic Contraption
- Pit People (Game 4)
- Gang Beasts
- Hyper Light Drifter
- Night in the Woods
- Outer Wilds
- Rising Thunder
- Secret Legend

- Spy Party

…and more to be announced!
