Developer Atomic Jelly and publisher Movie Games are announcing the beginning of the final countdown to the launch of their unique FPS production – Project Remedium! From next week players will be able to traverse the human organism as Nano+, a specialised nanobot which has to discover the cause of a strange illness and conquer it once and for all. The road to recovery won’t be a simple one. Nano+ will face mutated microbes, depraved miniature medics and various quests to accomplish.
The story in Project Remedium is a mix of realism and factual medical knowledge with a metaphorical approach to illness and recovery. Humanity is wondering how the medicine will evolve in the future. Will the illness be treated as an enemy, which we can engage in combat? The answer proposed by Project Remedium will send players on a journey into the human organism.
Project Remedium’s strengths lie not only in the unique story, but also it’s innovative approach to the FPS genre. Nano+ is equipped with a selection of weapons which can be upgraded as the gameplay progresses, a grappling hook device to move swiftly through the environment, and an array of abilities to unlock. The game will debut on Steam on 28th August.
The creators of Project Remedium have prepared a slice of gameplay which presents some of the available locations, the combat with microbes attacking the human body, and the mechanics of grapnel usage for easier movement to accompany the announcement.
