New screenshots released, confirmed E3 appearance – and original Deponia on sale on Steam today (66% OFF)!
Daedalic Entertainment, “a LucasArts from Germany” (in the words of German magazine GameStar), is happy to share three new screenshots from Goodbye Deponia – the third and last game in the beloved Deponia adventure series.
Screenshots, you may say, are not a big deal. But the Deponia series is a special case: with over 200,000 copies sold worldwide, it is probably the most successful adventure export from Western Europe, selling well not only in USA, UK and New Zealand, but also in Greenland, Pakistan, Mongolia and Saint Pierre and Miquelon (wherever the latter might be, we only discovered this place after reading the digital royalty report!)
Speaking of deals, the first game in the series – the original Deponia – is available today at an incredible 66% off on Steam, as a part of the platform’s daily special. For about as much as they’d pay for an espresso in Milan, players have a chance to help Rufus, the poor boy from the junkyard, to win over Goal, the girl from heaven. The sale runs until 6pm tonight, April 24th, and the offer is valid only while the supplies last (we’re kidding; it’s digital, and we’re loaded with codes).
In the final piece of good news for today, we’re happy to confirm that Daedalic will make an appearance at this year’s E3 (booth #6509 in the Concourse Hall), presenting among other wares Goodbye Deponia to all interested media as well as to fellow developers. Those interested to partake are kindly invited to contact Daedalic’s frankly brilliant UK PR team over at Johnny Atom to lock down a specific slot.
