This week, Xbox are announcing new dates for the upcoming “Sea of Thieves” Closed Beta, giving fans even more time to experience one of the most anticipated games of 2018.
The “Sea of Thieves” Closed Beta will run from 12pm GMT on 24th Jan to 8pm GMT on 28th Jan, giving pirates a full five days of sailing, shanties and shenanigans. Rare has crafted a bespoke experience for Closed Beta players that offers a true taste of what “Sea of Thieves” has to offer. They won’t be testing the full game during this Closed Beta phase to keep a good selection of things up their sleeves for players to discover at launch.
The Closed Beta will be accessible to anyone who joined the “Sea of Thieves” Insider Programme before 1st Dec 2017, as well as anyone who pre-orders the game. To find out how to download the Closed Beta client, visit our website. The Closed Beta will not be covered by an NDA, so players can stream, create videos, share clips, take screenshots or do anything else that their wonderful minds can come up with.
