4gency and Versus Evil are pleased to announce that their Strategic Space Survival Game, Habitat has received yet another substantial update.
Following on from extensive player feedback and play testing, update V0.6 introduces a host of new additions to the game.
V0.6 key updates:
As a preview of the game’s multi-level campaign mode we’ve introduced three levels, Earth, The Moon and Mars which you can now jump between via Gateways. Each level has a different backdrop, size, hazards, specific space junk types and also each map has its own city you can interact with.
As part of branching out Habitat’s combat and crisis system, player and enemy habitats and their components can now take – and dish out – elemental damage of multiple kinds namely Fire, Ice, Electricity and EMP.
4gency have been monitoring acceleration and speed values on players’ flying creations and have made several alterations to make the gameplay more fluid, easier to play and more just plain fun. With update V0.6 Engineers move and drag items faster, there is less drag and higher acceleration on habitats and booster rockets and they have also made the physics of the joint connections holding player’s habitats together stronger.
