Applications are open for the London Games Festival Fringe, running as part of the London Games Festival this year (30 March – 09 April).
The Festival Fringe is dedicated to independently run events of all sizes, and last year ranged from product launches and tournaments to theatre shows and workshops. Events in different or unique spaces, or in parts of the city that otherwise don’t usually see much event activity, are especially welcome.
Fringe events already confirmed for the London Games Festival Fringe 2017 include:
eSCon Europe 2017: The eSports Conference – Dedicated to defining and driving the eSports and competitive gaming industry, organised by Kiasco
VideoBrains – Intelligent and entertaining talks on games, looking at play from new angles
Ukie Student Conference: South – Exclusive talks and workshops from industry insiders from all areas of the sector
The London Games Festival and the Fringe is organised by Games London, a partnership between the capital’s screen industries agency Film London and games trade body Ukie, supported by the Mayor of London’s London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP).
