Howdy! 24 years old, graduated from Sunderland University in 2011 with a degree in TV and Radio Production, and to get it I just had to present and produce radio shows and write scripts. I did really well, I went to New York to pick up a swanky international award, but still I'm trapped in my hometown yet to start my career, but it's not all bad really, I'm getting married in the near future so that's pretty awesome :) Working at the moment as a kid's activity and sport coach at a top Gym & Spa complex. As well as having a great joy in playing video games, I am also a huge wrestling nut, even went to New Orleans for Wrestlemania 30, I even bumped into Rob Van Dam and Hacksaw Jim Duggen on Bourbon Street coming out of a Gentleman's Club together, what a weekend! Also if anyone lives in the North West, make sure you head to Preston once a month, PCW is the greatest wrestling promotion in the UK! Finally, I'm an aspiring children's author! Currently I have penned 12 original poems and 3 original stories and I hope to have the first of many books published soon, watch this space! Favourite game of all time: Dragon Quest VIII - Journey Of The Cursed King (PS2, 2006)

The Council – Episode 1: The Mad Ones Review

Being an avid and frequent surveyor of the narrative adventure plain, very little takes me by surprise these days.  Usually just relying on a strong and engaging narrative is enough to quench my thirst, but the more narratives I interact…

Secret of Mana Review

Over the past few years the video game consumer has been hit with a tsunami of 90s revival that doesn’t seem to be calming down anytime soon.  It seems like every month a popular childhood favourite is receiving that seductive…

Tactical Monsters Review

As much as my wife claims, I do not love my Playstation more than her and I can switch it off whenever I want.  I could go days, nay weeks without playing it if I really wanted to, because sooner…

Digimon Story – Cyber Sleuth: Hackers Memory Review

As much as my wife and my closest friends identify me as a Poke-maniac, there is just as much Digi-blood flowing through my childish veins.  Digimon is a franchise that holds a very special place in my heart, but even…

The Mind’s Eclipse Review

If there’s anything that industry giants Telltale Studios have shown us, it’s that sometimes having very little to do in a game can be a wonderful thing.  You’re there, sitting back in your chair, watching an emotional, gripping and incredibly…

Felix the Reaper Preview

Every religion and media outlet has a different idea on what ‘Death’ looks like.  Some depict it as a shadowy figure that walks round with a giant scythe, some believe it’s a demonic angel of death, and some even believe…

Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition Review

When people ask me what I did this holiday season, I’ll tell them exactly what I did, I played Resident Evil 7 in the dark, alone.  Whilst you were getting cosy tucking into your pigs in blankets, mince pies and…

Mantis Burn Racing Review (Inc Nintendo Switch) (Full Release)

Racing games come and go, if you pardon the pun. A lot of them run right under your nose and unless they’re called Forza, Dirt or Mario Kart, you don’t really batter an eyelid. The latest racer to perhaps do…

Need for Speed Payback Review

Whether it be driving through metaphoric slippery slopes, literal rocky roads or vice versa, the Need for Speed franchise hasn’t transitioned terribly well into the new generation.  For what was once a highly anticipated and much beloved street racing series,…

Assassins Creed: Origins Review

I think I speak for all of us when I say that we’ve got a pretty rocky love/hate relationship with the Creed.  It’s a franchise that when good, it’s really really good, but when it’s bad it’s just not worth…
