I always wanted a truly ship-themed Real-Time Strategy Pirates MMO game (using the ship as the main theme), because most of the games involving the ship only made it as one of the vehicles. Of course it would be more difficult to be realized related to the complexity of the parts of the ship and the adjustment of the theme with a variety of missions that must be taken.
But I was very grateful for the presence of Battle Pirates, a Pirates MMO game that is free-to-play. This is a Real-Time Strategy MMO game that offers various types of sea battles; of course most of the battles are done on the ship! The Battle Pirates takes time in 2067, where the water is soaking most of the mainland, as a result of the world war being led by terrorist. The remaining population can be divided into two factions, namely the Draconian Empire and Forsaken.
The Draconian Empire is formed of most wealthy citizens who are members of the right wing, while the Forsaken is formed of people who make a living by piracy and theft of cargo. You as the player will be in harmony with the Forsaken and must fight Draconian and if you fail, the Draconian will come out as the absolute power.
This game is unique as it bases itself on a social struggle, in which the poor and the system are at two opposite sides. However, the whole story is focused on the use of naval and gathering the resources needed to conduct naval battle.
Real-Time Strategy
This is truly a Real-Time Strategy MMO game. Each player is given a land that serves as a home base. Players are given a tutorial and the early stage of the game is to collect resources, such as metals, oil, Zynthium, and energy. These resources must be harvested using some infrastructure, such as wind turbines, oil refineries, oil rigs, metal casting, etc.
Use of resources aimed at creating new infrastructure, such as docks where ships harbor, shipyard where the ships are made, the armory, and Naval Lab.
Unique options
Each player will be given a few unique selections, one of which is the Planner Base mode where they design their base in accordance with what desired, including the island terrain settings where they build infrastructure.
Preparing Fleet
To defeat Draconian Empire, you should prepare your own fleet to collect as many resources as needed. You have to recognize the various types of ships used. I’ll take the light ship and the Dreadnaughts as two examples. The light one has a fast mobility but does not have great destructive power, while the slow dreadnaughts can bring massive destruction. All are used depending on the needs of a battle. After creating the fleet, the player can direct it to different areas on the world map where there are Draconian’s ships, outposts, and forts. Once the battle took place, each player can maneuver freely and the battle will be declared over only after one of the parties no longer has any ship.
This Pirates MMO game is highly favored by most seasoned gamers and by playing the game; we can obtain a preoccupation where the political situation and the war strategy are merged into one.
