When Louis “LouiCM” Morton (UK), Michael “REVOLT” Eaton (UK), Nicklas “Kraqz” Brenden (Germany), and Ryan “RyanGray” Gray (UK) enter the arena in this year’s Call of Duty World League Championship, they will wear the iconic black and green of Black Forest Games. The independent developer, best known for their hit game Rogue Stormers and their flagship title Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, sponsors these four exceptional young contenders for the CoD World Championship. It’s the first time that Black Forest Games officially supports an eSports team.
Adrian Goersch, co-founder of Black Forest Games, says: “Well, we could construct a connection between Call of Duty and our game Rogue Stormers, as both are multiplayer shooter games. But frankly, we just seized the unique opportunity to support a team of extremely skilled young players – and are very proud that they will wear our colors in the world championships.”
The event will take place from September 1st to 4th in Los Angeles. 32 teams from all over the world will be competing for the title.
