The case numbers always come in pairs
1 – 2
3 – 4
5 – 6
etc
So that makes the following table
Simplistic | Expressive | |
mITX | 1 | 2 |
mATX | 3 | 4 |
ATX | 5 | 6 |
The Numbers work like this:
MasterCase __ odd number means it has an ‘expressive look’ so it is exposed.
MasterCase __ even number means it has a ‘simplistic look’ so IO panels are hidden, grills are hidden etc etc.
The numbers also represent size, the higher the number, the bigger the case. So MasterCase 3’s are Micro-ATX, because of the number you know it will be expressive look as it is an odd number.
MasterCase 5s and 6s are mid towers, if it’s a 5 it will be expressive, 6’s are simplistic.
MasterCase 7’s (unreleased) will be Full Tower XL-ATX’s
And so forth..
So Maker versions will always be better than any Pro, no matter what the number is. Which is a short answer to your question!
