Jagex Brings Deadman Back Bigger and Better than Ever with the Winter Invitational Broadcast Live from the ESL Studio
Concluding one of the most explosive debut years in the history of any eSports tournament, Jagex’s incredible Deadman Invitational – based in the world of Old School RuneScape – will be hitting our screens once more on Saturday December 17th. With peaks of some 90,000 concurrent viewers and three successful shows to its name, the Deadman Invitational has become one of the highlights of the 2016 eSports calendar.
As with previous Deadman Invitational tournaments, thousands of Old School RuneScape players have been invited to the ultimate battle royale server. A permanent death, free-for-all competition with $10,000 on the line for the last player standing, the Invitational sets out its challenge to the hardiest without mercy.
This time, the show will be taken to a whole new level at ESL UK’s Studio 1. Featuring competitions, freebies, a real-life iteration of RuneScape’s ‘Blue Moon Inn’ and an exclusive developer Q&A for the audience at the event, the Invitational is a fiery end to what has been a phenomenal year for Old School RuneScape.
