This year’s line up:
Imran Yusuf (host)
Your ever upbeat host is no stranger to the games industry, having begun his career as a game tester before exploding onto the comedy scene in 2010 to critical acclaim.
Milton Jones
Outrageously funny, Milton Jones is the frequent star on Mock the Week, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, and headliner of Dave’s One Night Stand.
Geoff Norcott
Off the back of another sell out season at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and fresh from Live at the Apollo, Geoff Norcott is Britain’s first ‘openly Conservative’ comedian.
Abandoman
Musical Comedy Award-winners Abandoman create hilarious songs and musical sketches based on audience interaction – no two shows are ever the same.
Scummy Mummies
This utterly brilliant comedy duo host a fortnightly chat show for less-than-perfect parents and come highly recommended by The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, and feature on Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour.
Jason Patterson
Winner of the 2010 Loaded Laftas Rising Award, Jason Patterson’s versatile stand up is described by Comedy Central Live as “Brilliant observations backed by a perfectly measured delivery”.
Evelyn Mok
Described as the best thing to come out of Sweden since IKEA, Comedy Central star Evelyn Mok’s sets challenge stereotypes with an unapologetic style and sharp witted hilarity.
GamesAid is a UK based video games charity (Registered UK Charity #1081706) which acts as an umbrella to support a number of smaller charities who help disadvantaged and disabled children and young people. It is a non-trading body, administered by Trustees who operate on a fixed term basis run by a chairman who is also appointed on a fixed term. As the only fully democratic charity in the games space, members of the games industry propose and vote for the charities of their choice annually.
