CROSSOVER ACTION-MOBA GAMES OF GLORY, FROM VETERANS OF UBISOFT, DICE, AND CODEMASTERS, LAUNCHES KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN
Community Feedback Drives Development and Funding of New Competitive Game That Introduces Player Roles, Hack & Slash & Shooter Controls, and a Persistent Universe to the MOBA Genre
LightBulb Crew, an independent game development studio with a team built around veterans of Ubisoft, DICE, and Codemasters, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming genre-busting MOBA, Games of Glory. The game is currently in a playable Alpha state, and is looking for support to complete and polish a finished product.
Lightbulb Crew’s Kickstarter campaign page can be found at KICKSTARTER.com, along with more details about the game, gameplay videos and other information for potential backers. The campaign offers several levels of support with multiple attractive rewards. To celebrate the launch of the Kickstarter campaign, Lightbulb Crew are also delighted to release a brand new trailer – showcasing the game’s development to date, and providing an in-depth look into the story that drives Games of Glory.
“We have brought Games of Glory a long way since we started development a year and a half ago, and working with our community has produced a competitive experience unlike any other,” said Anders Larsson, Studio Head and Founder, Lightbulb Crew. “We are turning to our community and Kickstarter to take the game from a fun-to-play Alpha to a polished, completed project that will deliver on our vision of an action-oriented MOBA in a persistent science fiction universe.”
In addition to the launch of the Kickstarter Campaign, Lightbulb Crew will run a Steam Greenlight –allowing active members of the Steam community to vote for Games of Glory as an indie title they want to see showcased on the site.
