War Child’s Armistice is the first of its kind, a fundraising campaign that encourages peaceful gameplay to support children affected by conflict.
War Child, the only specialist charity for children affected by conflict, has teamed up with World of Tanks, Verdun, Democracy 3 and 1979 Revolution: Black Friday, whom have developed peaceful playthrough options, downloadable content (DLC) or are donating a portion of their sales during the campaign. War Child aims to build on this peaceful movement so it becomes an annual event where more and more gaming studios and players around the world raise of awareness and money for children living with the brutality of war.
From 7-14 November World of Tanks will sell packs of three or ten especially designed peace emblems in support of the campaign.

All total net proceedings from sales of this package will go directly to War Child.
From 16-31 December Verdun 1914 will be providing a ‘Christmas Truce DLC’ on Steam, inspired by the famous truce between French, German and British soldiers for Christmas 1914.This DLC will contain football matches, snowball fights and the exchange of Christmas cards. Two more studios are getting involved by showing their support for the campaign and from 21 November – 2 December Democracy 3 and from 28 November – 2nd December 1979 Revolution: Black Friday have agreed to donate the net income of their sales for a week during the period to support the campaign.
