There’s more than just fun on the line when you face off against friends in a game of Hearthstone between July 19 and July 25. You and your readers may be interested to hear about Friendly Feud, a week-long in-game event that allows players to complete quests and receive quest rewards simply by battling their buddies!
Just about every quest in Hearthstone can be completed during Friendly Feud, although there are some exceptions:
- Games vs. The Innkeeper won’t count toward quest completion—he’s everybody’s friend, but won’t feud with anyone
- ‘Enter the Arena’—come on, the Arena’s no place for friends
- Golden Heroes—sorry, wins won’t count towards those pretty portraits
If your friend list is looking a little sparse, why not Recruit-a-Friend to join you for some card-slinging action? Friendly Feud is the perfect time to introduce a new player to Hearthstone, as you can help them complete quests, earn some gold, grab some packs, and have a great time learning the ropes.
The fun with your pals will continue even after Friendly Feud is over, thanks to a brand-new quest called Friend Challenge. Players who receive the quest can choose a lucky recipient from their friend list, challenge them to a match, and play out the match to complete the quest. When the game ends, each participant will receive 80 gold.
