Today InnoGames announced the release of a new feature in Elvenar: Tournaments. This new ingame addition lets players win various prizes by taking part in province competitions.
To start, players need to enable the feature in the research tree. Tournaments are based on certain region types, with a new one available each week. As more regions are conquered by players, more tournaments then become available, which a player can complete by choosing to either fight or negotiate. A successful tournament enables players to unlock another difficulty level and expand the event to a more distant province. The new feature also consists of a strong multiplayer part: every province collects points whenever a player finishes an encounter there. As soon as a certain point level is reached, everyone who contributed to it gets rewarded.
Elvenar is a city-building strategy-MMO, set in an exotic fantasy world. Tasked with creating a flourishing city, players can choose between Elves or Humans as a starting race. The game’s focus lies on building and upgrading a city, but players also trade or explore the world map. The choice between Elves and Humans influences the way the players’ cities and inhabitants look and which technologies and units are at their disposal. The Elves live and breathe magic and exist in close harmony with nature, whereas Humans are ambitious and determined engineers.
