With one of the most anticipated films of the year, Spectre, in cinemas this October; let your teens feel like the brains behind the whole James Bond operation and make like ‘Q’ with a hands-on computing and engineering course from Fire Tech Camp (www.firetechcamp.com), the UK’s leading Holiday tech camp provider.
On the three-day ‘Senior Robotics with VEX IQ’ course, teens use a range of sensors and switches to build competition-ready robots, which they will then programme and test against each other. Held at FabLab London, the course covers mechanical and engineering design, motors and sensors for automation, programming with ROBOTC – a C-based programming language designed for educational robotics and competitions – whilst ensuring that the kids have a great deal of fun at the same time. The course takes place between 21 and 23 October 2015.
Further October half term courses include a five-day ‘Mobile App Design’ course and a ‘Rapid Prototyping: Intro to Making and 3D Printing’ course.
