Sandberg returns to the mouse market. After a couple of years with no news from Sandberg in terms of mice, the Danish accessories supplier now launches two really exciting new mouse products.
“We have been doing a lot of thinking, and we have rejected several products that never made it past the drawing board,” says Anders Petersen, Product Manager. He continues: “This is a tough market with well established brands and products that are generally good value for money. Our philosophy is to not market a product unless it really gives the customer a good reason to select it over the products of the competitors already established in the HID (Human Interface Device) market.”
The two new Sandberg mice are based on the key terms accuracy, elegance, functionality, and durability.
A first glance at the first mouse reveals that elegance is very much a primary factor. The traditional buttons and scroll wheel have been replaced by a totally flat surface. It not only looks good, it also gives a lovely feeling of being in touch with the computer. And it is easy to keep clean.
The other mouse offers a more classic design but does offer, among other things, additional buttons, of which one is used to select the mouse cursor resolution, to fine-tune the balance between cursor speed and accuracy. This makes it easy to alter the resolution of the mouse cursor depending on the job at hand, ensuring that you always have the best possible working conditions.
Both mice work wirelessly with their own USB receiver, meaning that they work instantly with no need for unit pairing or driver installation.
