TOY SOLDIERS BREAK NEW GROUND AS COMPETITIVE STRATEGY BATTLER ‘MINI GUNS’ SURPASSES ONE MILLION DOWNLOADS AND INTRODUCES FIRST NEW MAP
Mini Guns, the enchanting PVP cross platform game hits one million downloads, and celebrates with brand new urban map ‘Fallen City,’ as well as an exclusive Elite League
Riposte Games & Co. are thrilled to announce that in less than a month since its global launch, their epic player versus player battler Mini Guns has surpassed one million downloads. In celebration of the success, Mini Guns has received a brand new map ‘Fallen City’ which is now available for free to all players in game.
The Mini’s have stormed out of the forest and taken to the war-torn streets as ‘Fallen City’ transports Mini Gun’s explosive tactical action to a new concrete battleground. The layout of Fallen City enhances the level of strategy in Mini Guns and challenges players to use all the Minis in their factions. The new map throws a whole new strategic curveball at players as they are forced to contend with industrial roadblocks and a more complex lane system. Fallen City is part of a dynamic roadmap of updates that will allow Mini Guns to continue to evolve as it introduces new exciting content and features.
Mini Guns launched worldwide in August and has been charming its ever growing player base since. Mini Guns plays out across a beautiful cartoon battlefield as players deploy one of two factions – the freedom fighters known as ‘The Republic’, or the powerful corporation ‘The Dominion’. Players build up ‘Action Points’ as the round progresses to unleash Minis on the battlefield and deploy sonic tanks, warplanes, and drones to annihilate the enemy base.
Also introduced since hitting 1M downloads is the Elite League, an exclusive club for Mini commanders that fight at the highest level. The seasonal league system will add a competitive layer to the Mini Guns experience that offers exciting and unique rewards that correspond with player rank. Besides obvious bragging rights, staying at the top of the Elite League will allow players to collect new and unique Mini’s.
“The Fallen City map was brought to the forefront by talking to the fans. We spend a tremendous amount of time listening and talking to our players to enhance the Mini Guns experience,” said Johan Eile, CEO at Riposte Games. “We have developed a very strong pipeline that will allow us to implement new content and features seamlessly post launch. We don’t want to change the game but by regularly challenging the player with new environments, we can continue to provide lots of fun for our current players and hopefully attract new ones.”
