Today, players will be delivered fresh content with the beta release of Act 6. While roaming ten new desert landscapes ranging from ancient cities through to canyons as well as wastelands, players not only have to resist the scorching heat but must also face new enemies in the shape of the desert’s two dominant species: the Cyclops and the serpent-like Iaculus. For the very first time players can pick up legendary items on their hunt for treasure.
New adventures await players in fantasy Hack’n’Slash MMORPG Guardians of Ember with today’s arrival of Act 6 and the continuation of the story arc. After consulting the community, Insel Games decided to follow the feedback and release Act 6 early as a beta, so players can dive into the new action and help solving any unforeseen bugs. After the sinister Urdigard has slipped right through our heroes’ fingers, they are now in a hunt against the clock. Not only do they have to overcome the barren landscape of new desert regions like Lahabur or the Ahkeen Dunes, they must also contend with the region’s dominant inhabitants, the Cyclops and the serpent race, the Iaculus. Both races are slavers living side by side with only a fragile peace keeping them from destroying each other; perhaps all it takes to emancipate the humans that toil for them is one little push towards internecine chaos.
Players can look forward to several hours of exciting gameplay and should use the time to gear up with new legendary loot to prepare for the upcoming Endless Tower Mode, which is scheduled for Q1 2018.
Guardians of Ember is available in German, English, and Spanish on Steam in three editions: the Basic Edition (14,99€/13,99$), the Deluxe Edition (29,99€/28,99USD) and the Ultimate Edition (59,99€/56,99USD) that includes, among other additional items, an exclusive Golden Crane mount. A full French translation is planned for release in the very near future.
