Rapid prototyping course from Fire Tech Camp for kids this Easter
Just grasped the selfie concept? Well prepare to be left in the dark… Fire Tech Camp – the leading holiday tech camp provider for children and teens in the UK – is launching a new, hands on, one-day camp that introduce all budding tech wizzes to 2D prototyping.
Encouraging kids to use software and physical technology including vinyl cutters, laser cutters and 3D printers, the one day course shows kids how to design then create a vector graphic – that’s a selfie sticker printed on vinyl to you and I – to demonstrate how 2D prototyping works.
Kids attending the course at the ‘Makerversity’ at Somerset House (London) will learn how technology, DIY and art can create exciting projects and take home colourful vinyl selfie stickers designed and created by themselves that can be added to their phones, tablets or lunch boxes.
The one-day Vinyl selfie and 2D prototype courses take place on the 9 and 10 April 2015 and cost £120 per child. For further information and to book please visit www.firetechcamp.com.
Fire Tech Camp offers over 15 different courses including Video Game Design, Minecraft Redstone and Rapid Prototyping allowing kids to have fun with technology whilst empowering them with key future tech skills.
