Manchester’s Biggest Gaming Expo to Offer Free Space to Indie Developers!
PLAY Expo Manchester, the largest video game expo in the North of England, proved itself, yet again to be firmly on the side of the gamer, announcing a new initiative to provide free space to Indie developers and publishers, in order to showcase their titles at the upcoming event, taking place October 14th and 15th 2017 at EventCity, Manchester.
Returning for its sixth blockbuster year, PLAY Expo Manchester has long been a leading voice for Indies, highlighting the efforts of smaller development teams, and providing a much-needed spotlight for eclectic titles to shine.
At this year’s event, PLAY Expo Manchester will be welcoming Indie teams, providing free space to display their games to the public, and with some 25,000 visitors attending last years’ show, the opportunity to find a captive audience is one that Indie teams everywhere cannot afford to miss!
Free space will be awarded on a case-by-case basis, only available to small teams looking for a platform to bring their titles to the public for the first time.
“PLAY Expo Manchester has long championed smaller titles and the Indie community at large. Our visitors tell us year-after-year that Indie gaming is hugely important in their decision to attend the event, and this year we’re incredibly excited to open our doors to the Indie community like never before,” said Andy Brown, Director for Replay Events. “Today’s announcement will allow smaller developers an unmissable opportunity to present their games to thousands of eager gamers. It’s a win-win situation that we believe will prove incredibly enticing to the Indie community and popular with our visitors.”
Returning for its sixth year, PLAY Expo Manchester is a highly popular two-day video game event, ideal for all the family and offering visitors an unrivalled experience with features, tournaments, exhibitors, industry guests, panels and so much more. Celebrating gaming and popular culture, the expo uniquely caters for casual fans and dedicated gamers alike and promises to be an event not to be missed.
