Quo Vadis 2016 will take place from April 18 to April 20, 2016 at “Station Berlin” in Berlin, Germany. The conference is part of International Games Week, a week-long event series in Berlin that connects game business, culture and technology. We’re expecting more than 3,000 visitors from all over the world.
Here’s a few things to make you consider visiting the show or following our social channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) as events unfold. #qvconf will be the official hashtag. You can still accredit as a member of the press here.
We have them all. We have industry heavyweights, from David Helgason (Unity founder) to Avni Yerli (Crytek founder), from Kate Edwards (IGDA Executive Director) to Arthur Chow (6waves founder). We have legends like Don Daglow (who made Utopia for Intellivision back in 1981) or Matt Firor (Dark Age of Camelot). We have creative hotshots like the makers of indie smash hits such as Life is Strange, Superhot, Book of Unwritten Tales, Dungeon of the Endless or Unravel. We have speakers from leading companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Ubisoft, EA, Gamevil, Google, Gree, Epic Games and Gameforge.

Events within the event
Quo Vadis is hosting two events, the BIU eSports Summit and the Golem Tech Summit. The first is an exceptional gathering of eSports stakeholders, with speakers from eSports athletes SK Gaming, ESL-owners Turtle Entertainment, eSports researchers Dojo Madness and others. The Golem Tech Summit has a focus on machine learning, bringing bright heads from universities (i.e. TU München, Uni Münster, Uni Tübingen) and tech companies (i.e. Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon) together.
Another highlight of this year’s Quo Vadis is the Indie Game Expo, an initiative by Quo Vadis in cooperation with Indie Arena. About 40 indie teams showcase their games there. It’s very colorful and thematically broad: We have adventures and VR and multiplayer and strategy and survival and party and exploration games. And others. And still others.
