Realpolitiks, the streamlined real-time grand strategy game developed by Jujubee S.A., gets new content in the form of a FREE UPDATE
today. On March 15, 2018, the first DLC – Realpolitiks: “New Power” – will be released. Both updates will bring fresh content into the game, reflecting current world events, trends in international relations and contemporary political movements.
The free update for Realpolitiks provides additional features and technology projects, to unlock further possibilities for the player’s country. The “Outsourcing” project tree will allow players to generate more action points, which they will find especially handy in later stages of the game. Additionally, “Advanced Arms Import” military project tree has been upgraded and will now offer a possibility to import transport units which should greatly improve players mobility even in the early stages of the game.
Two features have also been added in the free update. From now on players can also change any nation’s name and flag before the start of the game, and they can also give away provinces to countries claiming them (to increase good relations).
Realpolitiks: “New Power” DLC will introduce “Korean Crisis” mini-scenario which will feature an actual nuclear threat from North Korea. Players, choosing either side of the imminent conflict, will have to deal with the explosive situation by either avoiding it, or adding more oil into the flames. Additionally, the DLC will include Non-Governmental Organizations that will try to influence politics along with creating larger territorial units by diplomacy. Playable nations include: USA, China, North Korea, Japan.
New diplomatic options in international politics will include non-aggression pacts to keep up peaceful coexistence between nations, while political annexation offers another option for enlarging one’s territory without the use of the military. But still, everything comes at a price.
