Hoplon, the leading video games developer in Brazil is today eager to highlight that teams wanting to compete at the first ever ESL Play Heavy Metal Machines Esports European Championships, with a cash prize pool in excess of €10,000, will need to put pedal to the metal as registration closes on Saturday July 15th. And since the game is in Open Beta, there’s no need to be a pro player to register!
Using a combination of skill, teamwork and guile, players will go bumper-to-bumper with rival teams in a bid to scoop a share of the fantastic prize pool – and with it the glory of holding aloft the ESL Play European Championship Heavy Metal Machines trophy.
Hoplon recently unleashed a raft of new upgrades born out of developer tinkering and detailed community feedback, which vastly improves the frenetic, yet nuanced nature of the gameplay. Hoplon has taken all the necessary steps, including with recent leaderboards and bomb updates, to ensure that Heavy Metal Machine is in great shape not only for the upcoming tournament but the esports scene in general.
