- Farmland: a seasonal arena in the Playlist that’s free and only available for a limited time. Enjoy car soccer in the tranquil and calm farm during harvest time.
- Wasteland and Starbase ARC: have been transformed into standard arenas, for those who like a post-apocalyptic or space-themed match. These arenas are nonstandard arenas (“Badlands” and “ARCtagon”).
- Snowy Arena: available during the holiday season.
Over 90 new items were added as drops or trade-ins. The update also introduces Player Banners as a unique cosmetic item. Some of these banners are customizable, and others can get animated. Who wouldn’t want a cool dragon decorating their rocket-powered car? These banners are available at common rarity after any match, with rare or sporatic drops after online matches, or through the trade-in system.
The Accelerator Crate is in the mix! In fact, it contains many new customizing options. Each crate gives a chance of containing Rare to Exotic items, including paint finishes, decals, trails, wheels, and bodies. However, the rarest item is four Black Market goal explosions.
Players are now able to switch Custom Training packs in the middle of playing one. A new setting called “Stick Sensitivity” has been added. The stick will behave normally (at minimum), and it will behave like keyboard steering, turning at its fastest from the slightest stick tilt (at maximum). Also, there’s a Camera Transition Speed option that enables players to switch between Ball Cam and Player Cam faster. Then, the “Always Show Nameplates” option will let players know which ones are at farther distances. Handling and hitbox preset for all cars have also been standardized. Lastly, the game has been localized in Polish for all platforms.
The Main Menu also got redesigned; the blog is collapsible, but it expands when there’s new news. All play modes have been consolidated into the Play submenu, categorized in their proper mode (online or offline), and other modes have been relegated to a “Play Local” menu. Rankings and related things are now under the “Career” submenu.
Transparent Goalposts have been activated for all arenas except Rocket Labs, enabling players to see through goalposts. It can be disabled in the Video settings. Some audio settings have been tweaked for a less disruptive playthrough. Lastly, the Director Camera for spectating is available
