Mind Candy™ introduces a new localised version of its hit game World of Warriors™ to Russia
We’re delighted to announce that, as part of its global expansion strategy, Mind Candy will launch its World of Warriors offering in Russia from today.
With over 6 million global downloads, World of Warriors already operates in Britain and the US. Russia has grown to be one of the top five countries for gamers and therefore a huge market for World of Warriors, even in the English language version of the game, and so creates an enormous opportunity for Mind Candy especially with consumer World of Warriors products set to hit Russian shelves later in 2016.
The game sees players battling it out to bring peace to the vast Wildlands by defeating a power-crazed warlord and his evil Skull Army. Ninja vs Aztec, Knight vs Viking, Roman vs Samurai, the game features a whole host of historical characters all with incredible back-stories.
To celebrate the Russian launch, of World of Warriors, Mind Candy will be boosting Ivan, the Rus Bogatyr, character by 50%, globally in the game.
Keen to continue its integration into new markets, the World of Warriors game will also be localising in the region of Japan later this year. Details on timings still to be announced.
