A new adapter extends USB-C adapter line to include DVI connections.
StarTech.com has announced the release of a new USB-C to DVI Adapter (SKUs: CDP2DVI & CDP2DVIW), available in black and white. The adapter further extends StarTech.com’s USB-C line, helping users utilise the USB-C port on their laptop and use their existing DVI cables.
The USB-C to DVI Adapter offers users the ability to continue using their existing DVI cables to connect a USB-C laptop, such as a MacBook, Chromebook™ or Dell XPS™ laptop to a DVI projector or monitor.
The adapter is especially useful for IT departments and professionals who need to quickly reconfigure their current workstations to accommodate a new USB-C laptop or Ultrabook™. The compact design of the adapter makes it easy for users to connect their USB-C device, while traveling or working in “Bring Your Own Device” environments where space is limited.
“Our USB-C to DVI adapter extends our line of USB-C products and gives users more cost-saving options for their USB-C enabled laptop, by letting them use their existing cables,” said Karishma Punwani, Product Manager at StarTech.com.
MSRP for the USB-C to DVI Adapter is £30.99 (ex. VAT) in the UK.
The USB-C to DVI Adapter is available at Insight, Misco, Amazon.co.uk and Dabs and is also distributed by Enta, Ingram Micro and Exertis.
