A new study by H&T has revealed just how much the most iconic objects from video games would cost you to buy in real life.
Looking at the most popular games in the world, H&T have valued the estimated cost of the props based on material, purpose and rarity.
The study includes some of the most well-known items including Sonics Gold Rings, the Diamond Pickaxe from Minecraft, and the Banana Peel from the Mario Kart franchise.
Sonic the Hedgehog’s gold rings would set you back a cool £5.8 billion
The most expensive item on the list is one of Sonic the Hedgehog’s golden rings, valued at £5,800,000,000 ($7,700,000,000). Estimated to weigh a hefty 256lb per ring, the price of solid gold on this scale is extreme!
In second place is the diamond pickaxe from Minecraft. If made of solid diamond, it would set you back an eye-watering £5,000,000,000 (46,700,000,000). The pickaxe would be 4668 carats, which would make it the largest diamond ever mined.
The Master Sword from the Zelda franchise is next, the carbon steel weapon would cost fans £1,800 ($2,394).
At the lower end of the list are some of the most iconic gaming items of all time. A cardboard box similar to those in Metal Gear Solid would cost just 62p whilst a Mario Kart style banana peel would be just 2p!
