The Night of the Rabbit releases today
The Night of the Rabbit, the latest adventure game masterpiece from Daedalic Entertainment, is now available for PC and Mac, releasing on Steam in two editions: For £16.99, players will receive the full game. The Special Edition priced at £19.99, additionally contains the audiobook “Of Mice, Squirrels and Mousewood Forest” in English as well as the game’s original soundtrack.
The Night of the Rabbit features beautiful, hand-drawn graphics and animations, as well as a number of in-game extras, such as the audio book stories, “Eight stories from Mousewood”, which can be activated while playing the game. All these tales are based on the game’s setting, a magic forest inhabited by mice and other talking creatures.
Daedalic Entertainment has published the first of these stories as a free download to accompany the release. “Of Mice, Squirrels and Mousewood Forest” is a story about Mousewood’s name and heritage and something on the power of names themselves; they can give a good idea of what to expect from a person or location, but, on the other hand, don’t necessarily reveal everything to be discovered.
The Night of the Rabbit and the audio book stories are suited for people of all ages, and are excellent family entertainment.
