Unity Technologies, the creator of Unity, a flexible and high-performance development platform used to make creative and intelligent interactive 3D and 2D experiences, are excited to announce a dedicated Unity Day and a Unity Masterclass, as part of the main conference program at Game Connection Europe 2014. The conference will take place at Porte de Versailles, Paris on October 29th – 31st.
Sebastian Dubois, Lead Programer at Amplitude’s Studios, Benoit Fouletier of Swing Swing Submarine and Oscar Clarke of Everyplay, are among the confirmed speakers. The Unity Day consists of 7 sessions, that will take place on Wednesday October 29th. As an integral part of the conference program, no other requirements than a conference and expo pass are needed to join the sessions.
Curated by Unity Technical Account Specialist Chris Pope, the Unity Masterclass takes place on Thursday October 30th and is designed for users with experience in Unity and C# coding. Attendees will get the opportunity to build a small 2D mobile game, which will be deployed direct to their Android devices. Masterclass attendees will learn about importing assets (2D & 3D), graphics (lighting & shading), input (gyro and touch), programming and user interface.
