The company is planning to expand Vivid Games Publishing operations and provides some details on upcoming titles.
Vivid Games, a leading mobile games developer, celebrates its 10 anniversary this year. Over the past 10 years, nearly 200 unique games have been brought to the market, with the smash hit Real Boxing franchise alone being enjoyed by over 42 million players. On August 8, along with presenting the strategy for the exciting years to come, Vivid Games has also revealed its rebranding – featuring new logos, visual identity, a modern website as well as a promotional video which highlights the talented, friendly staff and the cozy city of Bydgoszcz.
“Our dynamic growth in the recent years brings us to 2016 which coincides with Vivid Games 10th birthday. To celebrate this, we’re not only looking back at the past decade, but also looking into the future with much confidence. We’ve just launched our new website and refreshed our visual identity to clearly communicate our core values and what our cornerstone is. We believe it is all thanks to our talented staff; we are happy to be located in Bydgoszcz too, which has been a great place to run our business,” said Remi Koscielny, Vivid Games CEO and a co-founder.
Vivid Games promotes Bydgoszcz, Poland as the city both Polish and foreign developers want to work and live in. “In the past years we have been actively penetrating both the local and the worldwide gamedev. As a result, we are becoming a more and more international game studio. We have hired gaming experts from France, Brazil, Ukraine, among other countries. They all see our city and the company as friendly, modern place in which they can fullfill their ambitions, plus relax after work,” adds HR Manager, Kinga Gałka.
Bożena Rudyk, the PR manager for Vivid Games describes the vision that stands behind the new studio image from a personal perspective: “I have moved to Bydgoszcz from a giant metropolis to enjoy a good life-work balance. Many of my friends seemed surprised I was giving up living in big city. But it was the perfect choice for me. Bydgoszcz still has all of the conveniences other big cities offer but saves you never-ending traffic jams and other things known to citizens of the most busy cities like Warsaw or Wrocław. ”
The company rebranding also highlights the dynamic growth of the company in the past decade and numerous worldwide successes and awards. The new Vivid Games and Vivid Games Publishing logos feature smooth & dynamic modern design combined with the legacy elements like the VG letters composed into it. Being also based around the ribbon theme, It suggest unfolding, unfolding into the future.
Vivid Games, which will be making an public IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange soon, has 5 new games coming in 2016/2017. Within the next 3 years, the company is planning to have a diversified portfolio of 1st and 3rd party free-to-play tittles. Heroes of Nox is the first game to be released – it’s a sci-fi 3D action auto-battler developed by EVERYDAYiPLAY, coming Q4 2016 to Apple App Store, Google Play and Facebook. Next up, in Q1 2017 Vivid Games’ own Metal Fist: Uran Domination will be released. It’s company’s biggest game developed in-house yet and is best described a fast-paced synchronous multiplayer 2.5D action set in the urban environment. Coming also in Q1 2017 via Vivid Games Publishing is Invictus Games-developed Prime Time Rush – a unique blend of casual endless runner mechanics and a racing game, in which players need to escape a high-speed police chase.
