Strange occurrences are taking place on Fortuna III, as the frequency of storms on Crescent Falls and Tharis Island have tripled. Desperate to uncover the cause of these events, the factions propose dropping Prospectors directly into the storm to investigate.
Key Event Details:
- Become a Storm Diver: Players can opt-in by playing on the Crescent Falls and Tharis Island maps, where they will spawn during the storm and receive special gear from factions.
- Drop with Specialized Gear: Prospectors can access special equipment like a night vision helmet and storm-protecting armor to help them navigate the dangerous conditions.
- Storms in Overdrive: Storms occur three times more frequently than before. Meteors will crash down throughout the storm, providing dangerous opportunities for great rewards.
- Accelerated Economy: Prospectors can accumulate wealth and favor more rapidly, accessing high-end gear with meteor fragments from the storm.
- Event Quests with Cosmetic Rewards: Each faction has a specific event questline, with a special weapon coating available as a reward. Players can collect up to three cosmetic rewards.
