After the successful first Closed Beta test in September, developer Red Duck will open the servers once again from January 18th until 31st. During these two weeks players will be able to experience new features, modes, levels and other improvements made since the first Beta. Red Duck is also aiming to establish A.V.A Dog Tag within the professional eSports leagues once the game has fully launched.
The second Closed Beta test will bring a slew of new features and improvements for players to dive into and test out: In the brand new Shooting Range option that can be found in the inventory, players can choose their weapons and attachments to directly test recoil and handling, allowing them to try each weapon with different types of weapon mods before heading into a game. The game will also introduce custom channels providing the opportunity to create rooms to test and play with friends.
Red Duck is also working on redesigning and upgrading the functionality of the UI and in-game HUD. The HUD now shows more detailed analysis of damage dealt and taken as well as additional information about each round played. The UI redesign is almost completed and will contain various new functions. Based on feedback from the community, the game will also include a separate option to manually set the Field of View.
In addition to these quality-of-life improvements the new game version will also feature several gameplay changes including improved weapon sound quality, new voice lines, weapon balancing and the new map “DUAL SIGHT”, which will be available for both the Demolition and Annihilation game modes.
Red Duck is furthermore aiming to establish the game in professional eSports leagues and is currently in talks with the ESL.
The A.V.A Dog Tag CBT will run from January 18th to 31st. Players can register for the Closed Beta on the official website.
