XSEED Games has announced that the ‘Debriefing’ Action-RPG AKIBA’S TRIP: Hellbound & Debriefed is now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and the Windows PC via Steam, GOG.com, and Humble Store by Humble Bundle. Known as AKIBA’S TRIP Plus in Japan, this prequel to the cult-hit AKIBA’S TRIP: Undead & Undressed – which has sold 500,000 units worldwide – takes Western players to the series’ starting point for the first time with enhanced HD graphics and dual Japanese and English options.
AKIBA’S TRIP: Hellbound & Debriefed is available as a physical Day 1 ‘10th Anniversary Edition’ for a MSRP of $49.99 (Nintendo Switch, PS4). This includes the game, a 96-page art book celebrating the series, and a 2-disc CD soundtrack all packaged within a custom box. A ‘Digital Deluxe Edition’ for $49.99 (PC, PS4) is also available, while the base game can be purchased digitally for $39.99.
