Pearl Abyss has revealed new content coming to Black Desert Online in the near future. The newly revealed content included a brand new dungeon, a new player class and the Arena of Arsha – Best in Class Championship in-game event. Furthermore, a host of celebratory in-game events will go live after today’s maintenance to all adventurers in North America and Europe.
The all-new Atoraxxion co-op dungeon was designed specifically to introduce new PVE challenges to Black Desert. This is the very first instanced dungeon to appear in Black Desert Online that focuses on co-op play for groups of 3 to 5 adventurers. Players will have to group up, develop strategies and tactics to successfully traverse the dungeon, solve its challenging puzzles and discover its many secrets.
The entrance to the dungeon can be found in a secret room located within the Ancient Stone Chamber. Guarded by the Ancient Guardians, the entrance is accessible to all players who follow the Valencia questline and explore the region. The Atoraxxion co-op dungeon is a unique instance where parties of friends can meet other groups of adventurers and co-operate if need be.
The 5-year anniversary stream also gave a quick glimpse of Sage, a mysterious new male class which will be added to Black Desert Online on the 24th of March, and a service-wide Arena of Arsha – Best in Class Championship. Adventurers can look forward to Pearl Abyss additional detail on both of these in the very near future.
All Black Desert Online Adventurers can look forward to a special anniversary login event between the 4th and 31st of March that will grant everyone cash items and 660 Cron Stones. Additionally, by entering in the coupon code 5YEARANNIVERSARY Adventurers will receive ‘BIG Garnier Firecracker G’ between now and 17 March.
Furthermore, directly after today’s maintenance a 1000% hot time event is applied which gives Adventurers a major experience boost up until the 31st of March. Last but not least, anyone can celebrate the game’s anniversary as Black Desert Online is free to download on Steam up until the 9th of March.
