Evercade has announced the addition of the first Indie Heroes Collection Cartridge to its ever-growing library. This collection showcases 14 games from 10 different developers from around the world. From story-driven 8bit horrors to adventure-filled platformers – Indie Heroes shows that Evercade is capable of delivering diverse gaming experiences with plenty of depth.
Evercade is an exciting platform for Indie and Homebrew developers to get a physical release for their games. They worked with classic game developers to build an exciting collection for Evercade customers to explore. Each game has a different theme and style, making the collection eclectic and interesting. With a total of 14 modern retro titles, this will take the number of announced games for the Evercade console to a total of 197. All these titles can be connected to your TV via the HDMI output.
These will join a library of 16 other cartridges which include content from leading publishers and developers such as; Atari, Jaleco, Piko Interactive, Interplay, Mega Cat, Songbird Interactive, Technos, Data East, and Namco Museum. All games are fully licensed.
