The most recent seasonal content drop is the Shrouded Sky update, which continues the game’s Escalation roadmap for 2026. Like earlier seasonal events, this update introduces new environmental conditions that dramatically change how raids play out.
The headline feature is the Hurricane map condition, where powerful winds sweep through the battlefield, reducing visibility and pushing debris across open areas. Combat becomes far less predictable as players fight both the ARC machines and the weather itself.

Riven Tides Will Bring a Brand-New Map
The biggest upcoming update is expected to be Riven Tides, currently scheduled for later in the roadmap.

- New environmental events and encounters
Early hints suggest the new environment may move away from the Rust Belt setting and explore a coastal biome, which would be the first major visual shift in the game’s world.

More Maps Planned for 2026
Beyond Riven Tides, the developers have confirmed that multiple new maps are planned for 2026. Some will be smaller tactical spaces designed for intense encounters, while others will be much larger areas that expand the game’s world.
This approach suggests Embark Studios intends to grow ARC Raiders steadily throughout the year, introducing new environments rather than relying solely on seasonal modifiers.

Right now, ARC Raiders feels like a game that’s finding its rhythm. Seasonal content is arriving regularly, systems like Expeditions are deepening progression, and the developers are clearly willing to tweak balance when players discover exploits.
