As promised, the PSVR version of ARK Park has now been updated π
In addition to free locomotion (already available on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive), ARK Park PSVRβs graphics have been improved by 16% in the visual fidelity department β resulting in a more vivid (and realistic!) dinosaur world without compromising the frame rate.
How was ARK Park upgraded? To give PSVR users a measurable improvement in fidelity, the developers experimented with an alternate rendering mode. The result was a small gain in resolution, more effective anti-aliasing, and a boost to bloom lighting as well. Snail Games also spent some extra time on particular maps to bring out the fine detail in each model and texture.
More on Teleportation, Tutorials & Bug Fixes
Those who stuck with the original teleportation method have nothing to fear: It remains an option and can be easily accessed in the system settings. On the other hand, the devs added a tutorial that explains the free movement option for new players or those starting on a new playthrough from scratch.

- Character creation interface and βfuzzy fontsβ issues have been fixed.
- Gatling Gun: added explanatory prompt.
