Neon District, a new Ethereum blockchain game with a tech-noir ethos, is partnering with both The Pineapple Fund and the upcoming Atari movie to create the Pineapple Arcade, which is now available to players globally.
The Pineapple Arcade is a full digital arcade of retro-style mini-games, Easter eggs, and puzzles. Potential prizes are hidden throughout the arcade. These prizes include digital trophies, which give players access to Neon District’s alpha game, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Coiin – a new social cryptocurrency platform that rewards people for sharing, engaging, and promoting on social media. The Pineapple Fund is also contributing a $100,000 prize to be donated to a charity of the winner’s choice.
The Pineapple Fund was created by an anonymous early Bitcoin adopter on a mission to donate their windfall to charities and other worthwhile causes. To date, the Pineapple Fund has donated over 5,000 BTC to causes supporting mental health, environmental conservation and more.
Also joining the Pineapple Arcade are Coiin and the Atari movie, a biopic about the godfather of the video game industry, Nolan Bushnell, and his transition from fixing broken pinball machines to launching his own gaming manufacturer in the early 1970s. To promote the upcoming Atari movie, Coiin will launch a new Social Media App with more details to come, and is offering 1 million Coiin to be won in Coiin-Man, a tribute to the classic game Pac-Man.
