Magic: The Gathering, the first trading card game, has been around for quite a while. First released in 1993 the game continues to grow with a dedicated fan-base. Needless to say, there have been a fair few video game adaptations…

Leisure Suit Larry Preview

In 1987, Al Lowe, in collaboration with other point-and-click legends Ken Williams and Mark Crowe, released Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards under Sierra On-Line. The story of a middle-aged virgin desperately searching for sexual fulfilment…

Dead Island: Riptide Review

Oh Dead Island; I had such hopes for you. Released in September 2011, there were high expectations for the original Dead Island following the emotional trailer released in February of the same year. Depicting a family trapped in a hellish…

StarDrive Review

Explore, Expand, Exploit and Exterminate. These four tenants define the 4x strategy subgenre focused on building and growing an empire or civilisation in an attempt to gain power. Often requiring intense management of resources and a balance between economic, social…
