Patch #2 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is officially live and it’s packed with a ton of improvements, bug fixes, and exciting new features.
We wanted to make sure you’re up to date on all the goodness this patch brings, so here’s a quick rundown of some of the highlights:
- Withers’ Wardrobe of Wayward Friends: You can now dismiss co-op party members from your campaign.
- Performance Optimizations: This patch brings substantial performance improvements, reduced savegame sizes, and enhanced CPU load managemen among other things.
- Character Updates – Karlach: Patch #2 adds new scenes and moments for Karlach, including a new epilogue scene.
- UI Enhancements: Revamped user interface with improved icons, tooltips, and filters. You’ll find it easier to manage equipped items, navigate the inventory, and stay informed about turn orders.
- Bug Fixes Galore: From crashes to combat issues, Larian has tackled a wide range of bugs to ensure a smoother gameplay experience including memory leaks, animation glitches, and interactions with characters and objects.
