Battlefield Studios has released exciting new seasonal content for Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC with the launch of Season 1 – California Resistance. Alongside this, players can experience a free trial of Battlefield 6 from November 25 to December 2, featuring 5 modes and 3 maps, giving newcomers a week of high-octane multiplayer action at no cost.

Battlefield 6 – Eastwood & New Gameplay
The update introduces Eastwood, a new map set in a luxurious Southern California neighborhood. Golf courses, mansions, and swaying palm trees become a warzone as players engage in intense combat. Alongside this map, a fast-paced new mode called Sabotage challenges players to destroy as many sites as possible before time runs out. Sabotage will appear on Eastwood, Blackwell Fields, and other Season 1 maps during its limited-time run.
A new vehicle, the Turfpro PTV Royale, adds chaos to the fairway, while rare weapons and pickups, including the DB-12 shotgun, M357 Trait sidearm, and Slim Handstop attachment, have been added across All-Out Warfare, Battle Royale, and Portal modes.
Battlefield REDSEC Updates
REDSEC expands its free-to-play content with new features today, including:
- New Gauntlet mission: Rodeo
- Prepper Stashes (SCIFs) added to Fort Lyndon for Battle Royale
Portal mode has also been enhanced, giving creators a completely blank canvas to craft custom experiences with unprecedented freedom.
Seasonal Event & Double Rewards
The California Resistance Limited Time Event runs throughout the Season 1 period for both Battlefield 6 and REDSEC, featuring a Bonus Path that can be completed alongside the Season 1 Battle Pass. Season 1 wraps up with the Winter Offensive phase on December 9, introducing new seasonal-themed content.
