BIOSTAR has announced a comprehensive list of motherboards that support the latest AMD StoreMI technology.
The newest iteration of AMD StoreMI technology has finally been released to the public to use. Announced with the code name STOREMI_2.0.0.0113 BETA, the sole purpose of AMD’s StoreMI technology is to be a fast and easy way to expand and accelerate storage in a desktop PC with an AMD Ryzen processor easily. Just by downloading and installing the software users can enjoy faster data and storage speeds on an AMD supported motherboard.
AMD announced that the new StoreMI fully supports the following chipset versions, AMD TRX40, AMD X570, AMD B550, AMD X399, AMD X470 and AMD B450.
The updated StoreMI provides:
- NEW: Supports HDD/SSD combos of any capacity
- NEW: Caching system mirrors your data to SSD for speedup
- NEW: All-new UI makes setup, monitoring, reversal a snap
- NEW: “Read only” algorithm enhances data integrity
