Pearl Abyss has announced that Black Desert Online’s latest class Sage is receiving his Awakening skills today for players who play the game on PC. Adventurers playing on Console can Awaken their Sage next week, beginning April 28.
Sage is a caster-type class and a master of space and time. Sage commands both to unleash astounding, destructive power. With his Awakening update he will be more powerful than ever.
Wielding the lightning imbued Kibelius, Sage descends on his foes like a bolt of lightning and strikes them down. He can hurl his spear to pierce through targets or transform himself into lightning itself to rush down enemies in a flash. The raw, concentrated power of his lightning can even break open rifts to unleash more powerful attacks. And when Sage casts his skills, the Arkanon — possessing the combined power of the Kibelius and Kyve — will be summoned forth to assist him.
The Awakening skills include:
- Lightning Prison: Opens a massive rift and calls down countless spears of lightning to wreak devastation.
- Impaling Flash: Imbues his spear with lightning and throws it. Enemies pierced by the spear will be marked, and Sage will attack marked enemies in a rush of lightning.
- Divine Executioner: Throws his spear into the air and leaps up to fling it down with all his might. The spear will electrify its surroundings once it lands.
- Spear Bolt: Hurls his spear at foes with his entire might. Sage can pass through any enemies hit by his spear to retrieve it.
To celebrate Sage’s Awakening, Black Desert Online players can look forward to special log-in rewards. From April 21 to May 26, Adventurers can get special items like Skill Preset Coupon, Inventory Expansion Coupon, Storage Maid Fairy Irene, Premium Horse Appearance Change Coupon, and Naughty Dog. This event will be available for Console adventurers from April 29 to June 2.
In addition, from April 21 to May 4 PC adventurers can engage in a special boss weapon and armor event which will double the drop rate of these coveted items. To activate the drop increase, Adventurers will need to win from powerful world bosses such as Karanda, Kzarka, Nouver, Kutum and many more. Adventurers can also look forward to a 50% discount on Energy at Patrigio’s Secret Shop. During the event period Boss gear will have a three times higher chance of being offered for sale.
