Commanders, it’s time to roll back onto the battlefield. Call to Arms Panzer Elite has just dropped its latest update, bringing a fresh batch of missions, a new skirmish map, gameplay improvements, and the arrival of an iconic World War II tank.
Update 0.7.01 continues to build on the game’s Early Access momentum, adding more tactical depth and variety for players looking to test their command skills.
New Missions on Both Fronts
The update introduces new content for both German and U.S. forces, giving players fresh challenges from different perspectives.
On the German side, the campaign mission Le Dézert puts you in charge of reinforcing the struggling 352nd Infantry Division under heavy American pressure. It’s a defensive test that quickly turns into a fight for survival — and possibly a counterattack if you can hold the line.
Meanwhile, U.S. forces get the new conquest scenario Retake the Airfield. This mission leans into fast-paced tactics, tasking players with rushing across open terrain using light armoured units to secure a critical airfield before the enemy can react.
New Skirmish Map: Radio Tower
Also joining the rotation is Radio Tower, a frozen skirmish map that demands careful positioning and control of elevated ground. Expect slower, more deliberate engagements where tactical awareness is key to securing victory.
Panzer III Ausf. N Joins the Fight
The headline addition is the Panzerkampfwagen III AusfĂĽhrung N, making its debut as a versatile support tank.
Historically the final production variant of the Panzer III line, the Ausf. N represents the shift away from lighter armour as heavier tanks began to dominate the battlefield. In-game, it fills a flexible role between reconnaissance vehicles and full assault tanks.
Equipped with a 7.5 cm KwK 37 L/24 gun and a varied shell loadout, it’s particularly effective in urban combat and close-quarters engagements, making it a strong counter against infantry-heavy forces.
Quality of Life and Immersion Improvements
Update 0.7.01 doesn’t just add content — it also improves the overall experience.
- Checkpoints are now fully implemented, moving out of experimental status to provide smoother single-player progression
- New background music enhances immersion with tracks that adapt to battlefield intensity
- Deluxe Edition bonus adds a new historical skin for the Panther tank, giving players an authentic visual upgrade
