Capcom just dropped some huge news! They’re heading to Gamescom 2024, and for the first time ever, you’ll get to play Monster Hunter Wilds. This announcement comes hot on the heels of the latest Monster Hunter Wilds trailer revealed at the Summer Game Fest 2024 Showcase. Series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto joined Geoff Keighley to share that the next content drop will be at Gamescom Opening Night Live, along with the first playable demo on the show floor.
Monster Hunter Wilds, the newest entry in the award-winning Monster Hunter series, is in development and set to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
At Gamescom, Capcom’s booth will be massive – over 900 square meters with more than 60 demo stations for Monster Hunter Wilds. Plus, you’ll get insights straight from the top: producers Ryozo Tsujimoto, executive director and art director Kaname Fujioka, and director Yuya Tokuda will be there on Capcom’s very own stage.
Gamescom 2024 runs from August 21st to 25th, and Capcom promises more details on their lineup, stage, and streaming programs closer to the event. Can’t make it in person? No worries! Capcom will be live streaming plenty of content from the show floor. Stay tuned for more updates!
