Cooler Master, a leader in design and manufacturing computer components and peripherals, today announced the launch of a new model in the COSMOS line: the COSMOS C700P!
The COSMOS line remains unchallenged and revered of its iconic exteriors, premium materials, and always providing ample space to build. With a brand new exterior and interior design, inspired by community feedback, the COSMOS C700P raises the bar again, for next generation of “dream machine” builders.
Community Engagement
The Case Mod World Series, focus groups, meet-ups, workshops, surveys, and other types of engagement with the community are the basis for the MasterConcept. Similar to ‘concept cars’ in the automotive industry, the MasterConcept is the tangible realization of the dreams of many PC enthusiasts. The COSMOS C700P brings several elements of the MasterConcept to the public.
Highly Flexible Layout
One of the pillars of the MasterConcept is flexibility. A builder should be able to have their components organized and placed the way he/she wants. Inside the COSMOS C700P, this key element of the MasterConcept can be seen in innovations such as the rotating and removable motherboard tray. Turn the tray to create a chimney effect; put your graphics card in a vertical position to optimize the natural airflow inside the chassis, allowing warm air to move upwards with less interference and escape from the top.
The flexibility doesn’t stop there. The tray can also be positioned on the opposite side to create an inverse layout. Last but not least, you can even remove the tray before you start building, giving you the space to install the majority of your hardware out in the open on a flat surface before installing it into your case.
Sleek & Solid Aluminum Handles
The iconic aluminum handles have been reshaped for a more contemporary design, but still provide the easy-to-carry functionality found in all COSMOS cases. The full aluminum bars on the top and bottom of the case are just one of many examples of the improvements and premium materials used to create this masterpiece.
Dual-Curved Tempered Glass Side Panel
A panoramic tempered glass side panel with two curved edges offers a wide view of your system’s internal components. The tempered glass offer 3 to 5 times the structural integrity of regular glass. Perfect bending with tempered glass requires a large amount of patience and precision. Curving the glass to the correct angle, preserving the exact dimensions after curving, and preventing surface defects are just some of the challenges present in the process. Cooler Master has succeeded in mastering this process, not just once, but two times for every tempered glass side panel! This special dual-curved tempered glass side panel is not just unique, but currently the only one in the market.
RGB Lighting
Smooth, recessed RGB lines carved into the top and bottom offer a subtle light experience on the four handle bars. Combine this with an RGB compatible motherboard for an optimal lighting synergy in the system.
Easily control different lighting modes with a specialized light control switch on the I/O panel. This panel also has embedded RGB lighting and comes with a USB 3.1 (Gen 2) Type-C port.
Covers for Clean Building
The COSMOS C700P is the perfect canvas for a clean build. Removable covers inside the case will help you to hide the PSU, storage solutions and cables.
On the other hand, the bottom cover can also serve as a podium to show your SSD in a prominent position. Lead away cables through the extra cut out in the cover to keep a clean build.
If you prefer to install a radiator in the front (support up to 420mm radiator) and have it seen, simply unscrew and remove the right cover.
